El absentismo y abandono escolar  es un gran problema tanto para Turquía como para España. El nivel  académico de los estudiantes absentistas decae poco a poco y esta situación provoca la deserción escolar. El riesgo de estos estudiantes de participar en algún acto delictivo  es bastante alto. Los efectos negativos del absentismo y abandonos de la escuela en la sociedad, la economía, pero sobre todo en el individuo, son innegables. Con el fin de resolver estos problemas, prevenir el absentismo y la abandono escolar, el trabajo de los dos socios Regio servirá para desarrollar un programa de actuación que será implementado en las escuelas piloto. Los problemas que surjan durante las implementaciones se tendrá en cuenta y la forma final del programa se decidirá después de la revisión del proyecto. Durante la fase de ejecución, se realizarán actividades para ayudar a los estudiantes a asistir a la escuela. El resultado final del proyecto  se recogerá en un libro que será publicado y difundido. El programa, a continuación, se presentará al Ministerio de Educación como una propuesta asegurando su sostenibilidad.Absenteeism and drop-outs is a big problem for both Turkey and Spain. The level of academic success of absent students goes down gradually and this situation brings about drop-outs. The risk of those students to involve in crime is quite high. The negative effects of absenteeism and drop-outs on the on school, society, economy but most of all on the individual are undeniable. In order to solve these problems, prevent absenteeism and drop-outs the two Regio partners will develop a programme and this programme will be implemented in pilot schools. The problems faced during the implementations will be taken into account and the final form of the programme will be decided on after the revision of the project. During the implementation stage, there will be activities to help students to go on the school, as well. The final form of the project then will be compiled in a book to be published and tried to be disseminated. The programme, then, will be presented to the higher state offices as a proposal and it will be tried to maintain sustainability. It is anticipated that there will be significant decrease in the level of absenteeism and drop-outs.
